Where does my data live?
Your library belongs to your account and is not a public feed. Export is available as Markdown or JSON. Full privacy and deletion details live on the privacy page.
Can I bring my Kindle or Readwise highlights?
Yes. The browser beta can import Kindle clippings and Readwise passages so digital and paper reading can share one library.
Why not just type passages into my notes app?
Typing passages out is the step everyone skips. PassageShelf takes them in through the camera, then exports clean Markdown, so your notes app stays the home of your notes.
When do the apps arrive?
Android is in closed testing on Google Play with a limited group of testers — spots open through the tester group. iOS follows Android. No public release date is promised yet.
How much will it cost?
The beta is free. At paid launch there will still be a useful free plan — unlimited passages and notes, 30 cloud scans a month and the daily digest, with scanning carrying on past the 30 through the app’s own uncapped engines — and Full at €4/month or €39/year adds unlimited cloud scanning, browser notifications, selected-region re-reads and the monthly recap.
